Mrs Andrea Offord

​Andrea has been involved with local school governance for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience in the role of both Chair and Vice Chair.  As the Swaledale Alliance manager, Andrea has a good understanding of national Teaching School Hub agendas and of schools working collaboratively to drive school improvement.  As such she is able to support federation schools in leading the work of the Alliance.  She also works in partnership with Consultant Headteachers and the Local Authority, in supporting governor development as part of school support plans.  In addition, Andrea facilitates the Chair of Governor network meetings. 

Andrea likes to keep fit by playing squash and walking the dogs but most of all enjoys walking or skiing in the mountains.
