This week the children have been busy in the underwater theme role play area which they have called ‘Mermaid Kingdom ‘.Many mermaids have been seen singing and swimming around the kingdom with snorkelers with flippers and masks try to catch them.
The children looked at and handled  a mackerel . They all  sketched the fish before taking prints with it.
At forest school the children used the copper beech tree shoots to make a fish shape. They then wove wool around the body and used it to thread different leaves to make the scales.
